डॉक्टरों की ये हैं मांगें
कोलकाता। आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल में महिला डॉक्टर के साथ हुई भयावह घटना को लेकर अभी भी देशभर में गुस्सा है। न्याय और कार्यस्थल की सुरक्षा की मांग को लेकर जूनियर डॉक्टरों का आमरण अनशन जारी है। करीब दो हफ्ते से अनशन पर बैठे हुए हैं। भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे कई डॉक्टरों की हालत नासाज होती जा रही है। पांच अक्तूबर से अनशन पर बैठे उत्तर बंगाल मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल के सौरव दत्त को मंगलवार शाम अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। उनका जलपाईगुड़ी के अस्पताल के सीसीयू में इलाज चल रहा है। वहीं, स्पंदन चौधरी और रुमेलिका कुमार भी भूख हड़ताल पर बैठ गए।
कोलकाता के आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज और अस्पताल में हुए डॉक्टर रेप-मर्डर केस में इंसाफ की मांग कर रहे आंदोलनकारी डॉक्टरों का प्रदर्शन लगातार जारी है। मंगलवार को शहर के एस्प्लेनेड इलाके में डॉक्टरों ने रानी रश्मोनी रोड से अपना ‘द्रोहर कार्निवल’ (विरोध का कार्निवल) शुरू किया। यह कदम कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट द्वारा रेड रोड पर दुर्गा पूजा कार्निवल के पास के इलाकों में निषेधाज्ञा को हटाने के बाद उठाया गया था। डॉक्टरों ने दावा किया कि द्रोहर कार्निवल सभी क्षेत्रों से अधिक लोगों को एक साथ लाने में सफल रहा। जूनियर डॉक्टरों ने विरोध को और तेज करने का फैसला लिया है।
आंदोलनकारी डॉक्टरों में से एक देबाशीष हलदर ने कहा, ‘कल दुनिया ने देखा कि लोग न्याय पाने के लिए कितने उत्सुक हैं। हमें यह देखकर खुशी हो रही है कि इतने सारे लोग, खास तौर पर आम आदमी, इस नेक काम के लिए हमारे साथ हैं। इससे हमें अपनी लड़ाई जारी रखने का जोश मिल रहा है। हम इसे अब और मजबूत बनाएंगे ताकि प्रशासन को एहसास हो कि हमारे पास ऊर्जा की कमी नहीं है।’ उन्होंने कहा कि आमरण अनशन पर बैठे अन्य चिकित्सकों की हालत भी बिगड़ती जा रही है। अगर कोई और बीमार पड़ता है तो हम स्थिति से निपटने के लिए चीजें तैयार रख रहे हैं। हम अपने सहयोगियों के लिए जीवन देने के लिए तैयार हैं।
पिछले कुछ दिनों में जब दुर्गा पूजा उत्सव चल रहा था, तब बड़ी संख्या में आम लोग भूख हड़ताल स्थल पर पहुंचे। जूनियर डॉक्टर, आरजी कर अस्पताल की पीड़िता के लिए न्याय और स्वास्थ्य सचिव को तत्काल हटाने की मांग कर रहे हैं। उनकी अन्य मांगों में राज्य के सभी अस्पतालों और मेडिकल कॉलेजों के लिए एक केंद्रीकृत रेफरल प्रणाली की स्थापना, एक बिस्तर रिक्ति निगरानी प्रणाली की शुरुआत, कार्यस्थलों पर सीसीटीवी, ऑन-कॉल रूम और वॉशरूम के लिए आवश्यक प्रावधान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए टास्क फोर्स का गठन शामिल है।
