36 लोगों के बैठने की होगी क्षमता
देहरादून। केदारनाथ रोपवे प्रोजेक्ट और हेमकुंड रोपवे प्रोजेक्ट को केंद्र से मंजूरी मिल गई है। केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने राष्ट्रीय रोपवे विकास कार्यक्रम की पर्वतमाला परियोजना के तहत उत्तराखंड में सोनप्रयाग से केदारनाथ तक 12.9 किलोमीटर लंबी रोपवे परियोजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा, इसका बड़ा फायदा यह होगा वर्तमान में यात्रा में 8-9 घंटे का समय लगता है, लेकिन रोपवे बनने के बाद यह समय घटकर 36 मिनट रह जाएगा। इसमें 36 लोगों के बैठने की क्षमता होगी।
सोनप्रयाग से बनाए जाने वाले केदारनाथ रोपवे या केबिल कार परियोजना का जिम्मा भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) के नेशनल हाईवे लॉजिस्टिक मैनेजमेंट लि. को दिया गया है। एजेंसी परियोजना की डीपीआर तैयार कर रही है। जानकारों का कहना है कि केदारनाथ यात्रा को सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए दो ही विकल्प हैं। पहला पैदल यात्रा का है, लेकिन यह बुजुर्गों, बच्चों और दिव्यांगों के लिए दुष्कर है। दूसरा विकल्प रोपवे या केबिल कार का है, जो बच्चों, वृद्धों, जवानों व दिव्यांगों सभी की यात्रा को सुगम बनाने वाला है।
केदारनाथ रोपवे बनने के बाद राज्य में हेली सेवाएं सीमित हो जाएंगी। हिमालय की सर्वाधिक खतरनाक घाटियों में से एक केदारनाथ के लिए हेली टैक्सी यात्रा बेहद जोखिम भरी मानी जाती है। रोपवे बनने के बाद हेली सेवा से केदारनाथ की यात्रा करने का क्रेज कम हो जाएगा। सुरक्षित और किफायती होने की वजह से यात्री रोपवे या केबिल कार के माध्यम से यात्रा करना ज्यादा पसंद करेंगे। ऐसी स्थिति में हेली सेवाएं सीमित हो जाएंगी।
