20 स्कूलों के चैंपियन खिलाड़ियों को किया सम्मानित
देहरादून। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने गुरुवार को ग्राफिक एरा हिल यूनिवर्सिटी में आयोजित राइजिंग स्टार कार्यक्रम में 20 स्कूलों के चैंपियन खिलाड़ियों को सम्मानित किया। यह आयोजन राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के उपलक्ष में किया गया था।
कार्यक्रम में देहरादून शहर के कुल 20 स्कूलों के 80 खिलाड़ी शामिल हुए। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि खिलाड़ी पूरे समाज का आदर्श होता है और उसकी ख्याति की कोई सीमारेखा नहीं होती। खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड में बहुत तेजी के साथ खेल संस्कृति विकसित हो रही है और इससे यहां आने वाले समय में बड़ी संख्या में चैंपियन खिलाड़ी तैयार होंगे।
कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि 38वें नेशनल गेम्स, अन्य राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिताओं और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पदक जीतने वाले प्रदेश के सैकड़ो खिलाड़ियों को राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस पर उनकी नगद इनाम धन राशि दी जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड छोटा राज्य होने की बावजूद अपने चैंपियन खिलाड़ियों को जितनी नगद इनाम धनराशि दे रहा है वह खिलाड़ियों के प्रति सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दिखाता है।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि पदक जीतने पर आउट ऑफ टर्न सरकारी नौकरी व सामान्य भर्ती में खिलाड़ियों को 4% आरक्षण के फैसले से प्रदेश में खिलाड़ियों को आगे लाने में मदद मिल रही है।
इस अवसर पर प्रो. (डा.) ज्योति छाबड़ा, कार्यकारी कुलपति एवं विभागाध्यक्ष, फैशन डिजाइन, ग्राफिक एरा हिल यूनिवर्सिटी, डॉ. सुभाष गुप्ता, निदेशक (इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर), अमित गम्भीर, साहिब सबलोक सहित स्कूलों के खेल प्रशिक्षक आदि मौजूद रहे।
