नई दिल्ली। वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने अंतरिम बजट पेश किया। सीतारमण के डायरेक्ट टैक्स में किसी तरह का बदलाव नहीं करने के बाद अब न्यू टैक्स रिजीम में 7 लाख रुपए तक की इनकम टैक्स फ्री होगी जबकि 50,000 रुपए के स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन का फायदा पहले की तरह मिलता रहेगा। वहीं ओल्ड टैक्स रिजीम में 2.5 लाख रुपए तक की इनकम टैक्स फ्री रहेगी, लेकिन आम आदमी को 5 लाख रुपए तक की इनकम पर टैक्स रिबेट मिलेगी। अगर किसी की सालाना इनकम 5 लाख रुपए है। नई टैक्स रिजीम में 3 लाख रुपए तक की इनकम टैक्स फ्री है। ऐसे में बचे हुए 2 लाख रुपए पर उस व्यक्ति पर 5त्न के हिसाब से टैक्स की देनदारी बनेगी।
यानी, उसे 10,000 रुपए टैक्स चुकाना होगा। पर इस रिजीम में सरकार 7.5 लाख तक की इनकम पर टैक्स को सेक्शन 87्र के तहत माफ कर देती है। इसमें भी एक पेंच है। अगर आप सैलरीड है और आपकी कमाई 7.5 लाख रुपए से एक रुपए भी ज्यादा हुई तो आपको एक रुपए पर नहीं बल्कि 4,50,001 रुपए पर टैक्स चुकाना होगा। अब 3 लाख रुपए का टैक्स माफ होने के बाद बचे हुए 4,50001 रुपए में से 3 लाख रुपए पर 5त्न की दर से 15,000 रुपए और बाकी 1,50,001 रुपए पर 10त्न की दर से 15,000 रुपए चुकाने होंगे।
उल्लेखनीय है कि वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने अंतरिम बजट 2024 पेश करते हुए पर्सनल टैक्स को लेकर कोई बड़ी घोषणा नहीं की। इस बार भी टैक्स स्लैब में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि नई टैक्स रिजीम के तहत 7 लाख तक की आय टैक्स फ्री है। अब टैक्स स्लैब में बदलाव के लिए करदाताओं को आम चुनाव के बाद पेश होने वाले पूर्ण बजट का इंतजार रहेगा। अगर स्टैंडर्ड डिडक्शन को जोड़ दिया जाए तो 7.50 लाख रुपये तक नई रिजीम के तहत कोई टैक्स नहीं देना होता है।
