पुलिस ने तस्करों के पास से बरामद किए 300 KG डोडा पाउडर और साढ़े पांच किलो अफीम
देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड की स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स ने 300 KG डोडा पाउडर और साढ़े पांच किलो अफीम के साथ 2 अन्तर्राज्यीय ड्रग तस्करों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक ये लोग झारखण्ड की राजधानी रांची से एक कैण्टर के माध्यम से भारी मात्रा में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी करते थे। पुलिस ने जो अफीम और डोडा बरामद की है उसकी कीमत 1 करोड़ बताई जा रही है। तस्कर इसे रद्दी के बीच में छिपाकर ला रहे थे।
जानकारी के मुताबिक गुरूवार को एसटीएफ की कुमायूँ टीम ने थाना पुलभट्टा जनपद ऊधमसिंह नगर क्षेत्र से बलाका सिंह और लवजीत सिंह को यूपी-उत्तराखण्ड बार्डर से 5.5 किग्रा अफीम व 03 कुन्तल डोडा के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। इस कार्यवाही में एसटीएफ ने थाना पुलभट्टा पुलिस को साथ लेकर गिरफ्तारी की थी। दोनों ही अन्तर्राज्यीय तस्कर हैं जो झारखण्ड की राजधानी राँची से एक कैण्टर के जरिये मादक पदार्थ उत्तराखण्ड ला रहे थे। जिसे खपत रुद्रपुर, गदरपुर , बाजपुर आदि क्षेत्रों में बेचा जाना था।
तस्करों ने एसटीएफ को पूछताछ में बताया कि वे दोनों पेशे से ड्राइवर हैं और उत्तराखण्ड से सामान यूपी, बिहार,प0बंगाल, झारखण्ड और उड़ीसा आदि राज्यों में ले जाते हैं और वापसी में कभी-कभी मादक पदार्थों की सप्लाई ले आते हैं। इस बार वे रुद्रपुर स्थित किसी प्लाई फैक्ट्री से रांची प्लाई लेकर गये थे, वापसी में राँची से ड्रग भरकर ला रहे थे। ताकि यहाँ उसे होली व चुनाव के समय पर भारी मुनाफे पर बेच सकें। तस्करों ने अन्य कई ड्रग्स पैडलरों के नाम की जानकारी भी दी है। जिन पर कार्यवाही की जायेगी। एसटीएफ की इस कार्यवाही में उ0नि0 के0जी0 मठपाल व मुख्य आरक्षी रविन्द्र बिष्ट तथा सर्विलांस में अ0उ0नि0 प्रकाश भगत की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।
बता दें कि एसटीएफ वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक आयुष अग्रवाल ने इन तस्करों की गिरफ्तारी और बरामदगी में शामिल पुलिस टीम को ₹ 25000/ के नगद पुरस्कार से पुरुस्कृत करने की घोषणा की है।
