देहरादून। उत्तराखंड के जंगलों में आग की बढ़ती घटनाओं को देखते हुए सरकार ने खेतों में फसल कटाई के बाद अवशेषों को जलाने पर रोक लगा दी है। शहरी निकाय भी अपने ठोस कूड़े को वन या वनों के आसपास नहीं जला सकेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्य सचिव को इस संबंध में निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी निर्देश दिए कि सभी जिलाधिकारी एक सप्ताह तक हर दिन वनाग्नि की निगरानी करेंगे, जबकि खेतों में फसलों की कटाई के बाद बचे अवशेषों और शहरी निकाय ठोस कूड़े को एक सप्ताह तक नहीं जला सकेंगे। प्रदेश के जंगल आग से लगातार धधक रहे हैं।
