देहरादून। कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने मंगलवार को हाथीबड़कला स्थित कैंप कार्यालय में गत वर्ष 2022 में सरखेत में आई देवीय आपदा में प्रभावित 12 परिवारों को अपनी घोषणानुसार टेलीविज़न सेट वितरित किए।
इस दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि आपदा प्रभावितों के साथ राज्य सरकार हमेशा खड़ी है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम प्राकृतिक आपदाओं को रोक नहीं सकते, लेकिन आपदा के बाद सरकार प्रभावितों के प्रति कितनी गंभीरता से कार्य कर रही है, यह बेहद आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश की पुष्कर सिंह धामी सरकार पूरी ईमानदारी से इस कार्य को कर रही है। प्रभावित परिवारों को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने पर भी ग्रामीणों ने कैबिनेट मंत्री से अनुरोध किया। इस दौरान महिलाओं ने कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी का आभार प्रकट करते हुए उनकी कलाई पर राखी बांधकर उनकी लंबी उम्र की कामना की।
इस अवसर पर ग्राम प्रधान नीलम कोटवाल, जिला पंचायत सदस्य वीर सिंह चौहान, अनुज कौशल, संध्या थापा, संजय कोटवाल, भूपेंद्र कठेत सहित कई लोग उपस्थित रहे।
