भाजपा में विवादित नेताओं की टिकट कटने का सिलसिला जारी है। पार्टी ने पहली सूची में कई विवादित नेताओं को बेटिकट किया है। अक्सर अपने बयानों से विवादों में रही भोपाल की सांसद प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर को इस बार पार्टी ने टिकट नहीं दिया है तो संसद के अंदर बसपा सांसद दानिश अली पर विवादित बयान देने वाले रमेश विधूड़ी को भी टिकट नहीं मिली।
यह सिलसिला दूसरी सूची में भी जारी रही। भाजपा ने 72 उम्मीदवारों की दूसरी सूची में कर्नाटक के दो ऐसे सांसदों की टिकट काटी है, जो पिछले कुछ दिनों से किसी न किसी कारण से विवादों में घिरे रहे थे और उनकी वजह से पार्टी को बैकफुट पर आना पड़ा। भाजपा ने इस बार कर्नाटक से अपने सांसद प्रताप सिम्हा की टिकट काट दी। पिछले दिनों वे इस बात को लेकर विवाद में आए थे कि उनकी सिफारिश पर कुछ लोगों का सांसद का पास बना था, जिन्होंने संसद भवन के अंदर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। दो लोगों ने तो संसद की दर्शक दीर्घा से सदन के अंदर छलांग लगा दी थी और धुआं छोड़ा था। बाद में इनको गिरफ्तार किया गया।
गौरतलब है कि इस सिलसिले में प्रताप सिम्हा पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। इसी तरह लोकसभा चुनाव में 370 सीटें जीत कर संविधान बदलने का बयान देने वाले भाजपा सांसद अनंद हेगड़े की टिकट भी कट गई है। उनके इस बयान पर भाजपा ने बहुत नाराजगी जताई थी और कारण बताओ नोटिस भी जारी किया था।
