जींद और सोनीपत रेलवे स्टेशनों के बीच जल्द ही ट्रायल रन के लिए दौड़ेगी ट्रेन
एक बार में 2,638 यात्री कर सकेंगे यात्रा
नई दिल्ली। भारतीय रेलवे ने हाइड्रोजन से चलने वाली ट्रेन लॉन्च करने की तैयारी में है। यह अत्याधुनिक ट्रेन हरियाणा के जींद और सोनीपत रेलवे स्टेशनों के बीच जल्द ही ट्रायल रन के लिए दौड़ेगी। इस हाइड्रोजन ट्रेन का डिजाइन रेलवे की शोध, डिजाइन और मानक संगठन द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। डिजाइन को दिसंबर 2021 में अंतिम रूप दिया गया था। इस ट्रेन का अंतिम ट्रायल अगले साल की पहली तिमाही में होने की संभावना है।
एक की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, आरडीएसओ के महानिदेशक उदय बोरवंकर ने कहा, आरडीएसओ लगातार नए और अभिनव प्रोजेक्ट्स पर ध्यान केंद्रित करता है। हाइड्रोजन ईंधन का उपयोग सडक़ परिवहन में सफल रहा है। रेलवे में अभी तक इसका व्यापक उपयोग नहीं हो सका है। भारत का यह प्रयास टिकाऊ ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि होगी।
इस ट्रेन में 8 यात्री डिब्बे होंगे, जिनमें एक बार में 2,638 यात्री यात्रा कर सकेंगे। ट्रेन की अधिकतम गति 110 किमी/घंटा होगी। इसमें तीन डिब्बे हाइड्रोजन सिलेंडरों, ईंधन सेल कन्वर्टर्स, बैटरियों और एयर रिज़र्व के लिए होंगे। यह ट्रेन विशेष रूप से कम दूरी के सफर के लिए उपयुक्त मानी जा रही है। वर्तमान में चेन्नई के इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री में ट्रेन का इंटीग्रेशन कार्य प्रगति पर है।
हाइड्रोजन से चलने वाली ट्रेनें हाइड्रोजन और ऑक्सीजन के ईंधन सेल से उत्पन्न बिजली का उपयोग मोटर चलाने के लिए करती हैं। जर्मनी और चीन जैसे देशों ने रेल परिवहन में हाइड्रोजन ईंधन पर काम किया है, लेकिन अब तक केवल जर्मनी में एक सफल हाइड्रोजन ट्रेन परिचालित हो रही है। वहां ट्रेन में सिर्फ दो कोच हैं। भारत की यह हाइड्रोजन ट्रेन न केवल तकनीकी दृष्टि से बल्कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिहाज से भी एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल मानी जा रही है। इसका लक्ष्य ग्रीन एनर्जी के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देना है।
