बंशी राम निवासी पिथरोरागढ़ उत्तराखण्ड को लंबे समय से ह्दय रोग सम्बन्धित बीमारी की शिकायत थी। बीमारी की वजह से इन्हें सांस फूलना, चलने में परेशानी, हल्की खांसी, सीने में भारीपन व बैठे बैठे अचानक बेहोशी की शिकायत थी। मेडिकल साइंस में इस बीमारी को एओआरटिक सिनोसिस (महाधमनी में अवरोध की शिकायत) कहा जाता है। श्री महंत इन्दिरेश अस्पताल के वरिष्ठ ह्दय रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ साहिल महाजन ने इनका प्रारम्भिक परीक्षण किया व जॉचें करवाई। जॉचों में एओआरटिक सिनोसिस (महाधमनी में अवरोध की शिकायत) की पुष्टि हुई।
काॅर्डियोलाॅजी विभाग के ह्दय रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ साहिल महाजन, डाॅ अभिषेक मित्तल व सीटीवीएस के वरिष्ठ ओपन हार्ट सर्जन डाॅ अशोक जयंत ने टीएवीआर तकनीक से उपचार का फैसला लिया। मरीज बंशी राम की भी यही इच्छा थी कि बिना चीरा उनका हार्ट प्रोसीजर किया जाए। श्री महंत इन्दिरेश अस्पताल की आधुनिक कैथ लैब में डेढ़ घण्टे तक चले प्रोसीजर में मरीज का सफल उपचार किया गया। सफल प्रोसीजर के बाद मरीज स्वस्थ्य हैं व उन्हें अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे गई है।
