गणतंत्र दिवस पर कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने पुलिस परेड की सलामी ली

नैनीताल। प्रदेश में समान नागरिक संहिता लागू होना प्रदेश की बेटियों के लिए ऐतिहासिक कदम होगा । रविवार को गणतंत्र दिवस पर पुलिस परेड की सलामी लेने नैनीताल पहुंची कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने यह बात कही।
नैनीताल के डीएसए मैदान में पुलिस और पीएसी के जवानों ने कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या को सलामी दी।कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने विशेष वाहन पर सवार होकर परेड का निरीक्षण किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि संविधान रचयिता बाबा भीमराव अंबेडकर ने कहा था कि किसी समाज की प्रगति उस समाज की महिलाओं की प्रगति के पैमाने पर मापी जाती है। केंद्र और राज्य सरकार ने इसी विचार को चरितार्थ करते हुए प्रदेश की महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए तमाम योजनाएं शुरू की है। महिला कल्याण एवं बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि 2014 से पहले प्रदेश का लिंगानुपात की स्थिति खराब थी लेकिन अब यह बढ़कर 960 प्रति हजार हो गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश में लागू होने वाला यूसीसी कानून महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम साबित होगा।
मंत्री ने कहा कि अब प्रदेश की बेटियां परिवार में बेटों की तरह संपत्ति पर मालिकाना हक पा सकेंगी। मंत्री ने कहा कि पहले लोग सवाल उठाते थे कि हम नेशनल गेम्स जैसा बड़ा खेल आयोजन कैसे कर पाएंगे लेकिन प्रदेश सरकार ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की खेल सुविधाए तैयार करके इन आशंकाओं को निर्मूल साबित कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि संभवत उत्तराखंड पहला ऐसा राज्य है जो राष्ट्रीय खेलों की सभी इवेंट अपने प्रदेश की सीमा के भीतर ही करवा पा रहा है। इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी वंदना सिंह, डीआईजी योगेंद्र सिंह रावत, एसएसपी पीएन मीणा, अपर जिला अधिकारी पी आर चौहान, सयुंक्त मजिस्ट्रेट वरुणा अग्रवाल, एसडीएम प्रमोद कुमार आदि मौजूद रहे।
