श्रीनगर। गढ़वाल विवि के बिड़ला परिसर स्थित बॉयज हॉस्टल के समीप एक घर के आंगन से गुलदार मां के सामने ही तीन वर्षीय बच्चे को शुक्रवार रात पौने नौ बजे के करीब उठा कर ले गया था। जिसका शव शनिवार सुबह साढ़े छह बजे के करीब घर से 200 मी दूरी पर झाड़ियों में मिला। वन विभाग की ओर से शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए बेस अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में ले जाया गया है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार डांग क्षेत्र से सटे सिंदरीगाड़ के पास झोपड-पट्टी पर रह रहे तीन वर्षीय सूरज पुत्र हरिद्वारी घर के बाहर आंगन में खेल रहा था, तभी पीछे से हमला कर गुलदार ने बच्चे को उठा लिया।
बच्चे के परिजनों ने शोर मचाया लेकिन बच्चे का कुछ पता नहीं चल पाया। शोर सुनकर आस-पास के लोग बड़ी संख्या में मौके पर एकत्रित हुए। मूल रुप से बरेली निवासी हरिद्वारी करीब तीन माह से यहां किराये की झोपडी में रह रहा था। उसकी दो बेटियां और सबसे छोटा बालक सूरज हाल ही में करीब 15 दिन पहले अपने गांव तहसील फरीदपुर गांव ढढोली नवादा बरेली, उत्तर प्रदेश से यहां श्रीनगर पहुंचा था। बच्चे का पिता फेरी लगाकर लहसुन व दाल बेचने का काम करता है। गुलदार के हमले के बाद से बच्चे की माँ भगवान देवी व परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों का बुरा हाल है। वन विभाग के रेंजर ललित मोहन नेगी ने बताया कि क्षेत्र में दो पिंजरे व चार ट्रेप कैमरे लगा दिए गए है।
